Well done to everyone who entered the Berkshire Schools Virtual Cross Country Championships - there was a fantastic 532 entries! Its great to see athletes still working hard in training and putting out some good runs. Attached here is the results - they have also been emailed to all Berkshire Schools. Superb to see so many schools and runners taking part and doing so well despite all of this lockdown madness!!

Welcome to the Berkshire Schools Virtual Cross Country Championships 2021!

The competition window for this event is Saturday 6th to Sunday 28th February 2021. Please see the attached PDF doc on entry information and details re race distances etc. Results should be uploaded via the google form  -https://forms.gle/ZhfMK7dnprUrWGfbA You can only submit one result so make sure this is your fastest, Strava link must be added to the results form for a validated entry.

England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2020 (South East)

Berkshire was well represented in the England Athletics Volunteer Awards for the South East on 27 Nov 2020.

Tom Presho - Windsor Slough Eton and Hounslow - won the Athletics and Running @ Home Award

His nominiators said:

"Tom has been described as a very special and valued coach at WSEH and was praised particularly for the way he helped his athletes deal with the consequences of the pandemic.

2020/21 Berkshire XC Championships

‘It has been resolved, regrettably, to cancel the County Cross-Country Championships, earmarked for Sunday 13 December, due to the current co-vid crisis and uncertainty about the future. The option has been left open to rearrange the event should circumstances change; a suitable venue being available; and there being no significant clash with other events’.

County Championships Cancellation

With the current situation regarding the Covid 19 virus the Berkshire Athletics Committee has made the decision to cancel the above Championships.

All entry fees will be refunded. These refunds will take some time to complete so please be patient. Notification when all refunds have been made will appear on our website. Any queries ie. non receipt of refund, after this notification should be directed to myself.
