Berkshire Schools Track and Field Championships (U15, U17) - Final Info

The Berkshire Schools Championships will be going ahead for Juniors (yr8/9) and Inters (yr10/11) on Saturday 12th June 2021. Seniors need to submit the google form on the previous news article to be considered for the ESAA team.

Please find attached in the documents below the final entrants for the Berkshire Schools Track and Field Championships for Juniors and Inters. This information has been emailed to all successful participants and all schools.

Please also find information for the day which needs to be read now as it contains information on how to download Athletes numbers (your number is next to your name on the entry list) etc. Also attached is the proposed timetable. We hope that this is all ok - there are inevitably quite a few changes we have had to make to usual years due to covid restrictions set by both Palmer Park and England Athletics as well as following the government guidelines.

With the exception of Pole Vault, the juniors will compete in the morning session (10-1pm) and the inters will compete in the afternoon (2-5pm)

This event has received its official licence so all results will be on powerof10.

Unfortunately the throwing cage at Palmer Park is out of action and is classified as unsafe to use. We therefore will not be able to hold the Discus or Hammer events at the championships on Saturday 12th June and have also been unable to find an alternative venue for these events. We do apologise for this but there are no options available. If athletes had entered a second event (other than Hammer and Discus) and had achieved the district standard and were in the top 12 in this second event you have been put into this and will have been sent a separate confirmation of entry email. If they only had Discus or Hammer selected and are close to the entry standard, then we will be keeping an eye on your powerof10 page and you will still be considered for selection for the Berkshire team for the ESAA championships.
