SUMMARY:U15-U19 Berkshire Schools Track and Field Championships
DESCRIPTION:This is the Berkshire schools track and field championships for U15\, U17 and U19 (Years 8-13) \nSchools can only qualify for this championships via their district. Districts (Reading\, Slough\, Windsor and Maidenhead\, Bracknell\, Wokingham\, West Berkshire) have their own selection policies / competitions so please ensure your school has liaised with their appropriate district for this. No direct entries will be taken. \nAge group changes will not come into effect for schools events for this year. Age groups are Junior – 8/9\, Inter 10/11\, Senior 12/13 \nBerks-Schs-TF-programme-2026 \nThere shouldn’t be any changes now – the timetable may run slightly ahead of schedule or behind depending on how things go on the day so athletes need to turn up in plenty of time so they don’t miss their event and make sure they listen to the tannoy / keep an eye on the competition. Sprints in junior and inter age groups will have heats and finals so athletes need to be prepared for staying if they are successful. \nAthletes should be arriving at least 1 hour 15minutes before their event is due to start. They should check in to their district representative in the stand and collect their vest and numbers. They should go to the start of their event at least 10minutes prior so they can be checked in / warm up. Athletes should be providing safety pins and should not be wearing club kit. Programmes will be available for purchase on the day in the box. \nIf athletes come in the top 3 in their event they will be invited into the centre of the track – gazebo by the podium to receive their medal. They will also need to bring a device or parent with a device in order to complete a google form there and then. (This is the only time that they should have a device on the infield / track) This is for consideration for the team for English schools. This does not mean they get into the team but just gives us their contact details so once we have chosen the team they can be contacted. \n  \nWell done to all athletes that competed today at the championships.
